As a teacher I am often invited to many Google Calendars™. Every Google Classroom™ I create or am invited to also generates a Google Calendar that I do not need the next school year. So the question is: How do I delete multiple Google Calendars At Once? I created a Google Sheets™ Add-on that lists your Google Calendars and allows you to delete multiple calendars at once. As always, I collect NO USER DATA!
How to delete a Google Calendar
On one of my accounts I have 30 calendars I own or have been invited to. THIRTY! At least one goes back to 2014. I DO NOT NEED ALL OF THESE! To delete them manually you need to hover over the calendar list and click on the 3 dots. Select “Settings” and scroll to the bottom to delete or unsubscribe. But this is so slow one at a time! My Add-on DelCal does this much faster!
List Calendars
Open ANY Google Sheets™ spreadsheet. Use the Extensions menu to select “Del Cal by Alice Keeler.” This will give you the option to “List” your calendars into a new sheet. A new sheet will be added to the spreadsheet and a list will be generated.

Delete Calendars
You can not delete calendars you do not own. There are 2 options in the DelCal menu. “Delete” or “Delete & Unsubscribe.” Delete will only delete calendars that you own. If you were invited to a calendar you need to use the unsubscribe option to remove yourself.
Safety Precaution
As a safety precaution I have made the requirement to change the word “no” in column C to “delete.” Which means you have to actually type out “delete” and spell it correctly. You can not undo deleting a calendar, so by design I try to make it hard to accidentally delete a calendar.
Your Calendar
The code does NOT allow you to delete your primary calendar. You will need to do that manually in Google Calendar if you want to delete that one. However, I couldn’t think of circumstances where you would actually want to delete the default calendar so proceed with caution if you do decide to go that route.

Delete Multiple Google Calendars
First you will need to have multiple Google Calendars. Then, you will want to remove some of the calendars. You should not delete your default calendar. The Calendar ID for your default calendar is your email.
