Play the Water Bottle Flipping Game

I am a day late and a dollar short on this one. Water bottle flipping is no longer the in thing, but I suspect some students would enjoy the game anyway. Divide the class into 2 teams. Each team gets a water bottle. Each person in the class gets one flip of the bottle for their team. If they have a successful landing of their flip their team gets 1 point. The team with the most points goes first. In the case of a tie, the team with the tallest player goes first (or whatever criteria you decide).

Game Board

The game board has 32 linked questions. Go through the slides and put a question to ask on the question slide and the following slide with a water background is the answer slide for that question.

Question and Answer Slides

Present

Click the Present button in Google Slides to start the game. Go to the game board slide. The team up will choose which question they want. Click on the small water bottle under the question number to jump to that slide. The team will respond to the question; suggestion to choose a team captain to speak for the team. Click the water bottle in the bottom right to advance to the answer slide. If they got the question correct the team gets to flip the bottle. If they successfully land the bottle the team gets a point and gets to go again. Otherwise, it is the other team’s turn to choose a question. Click the small water bottle in the corner to return to the game board.

  1. This is amazing! I do have one question. Do we flip the bottle in real life or is there a slide where it accesses a animated flipping bottle?
