Keytips – Control Click to Open a Link

Control Click

Something to teach students is to hold down the Control key when they click on a link. This will open the destination in a new tab. This allows the student to retain the current page they are on and to investigage the link. For example, when conducting a Google Search the student most likely will need to click on several links in the search. Holding down Control will allow the student to view the webpage and return back to their search results without conducting the search again.
