I Am Not A Teacher by @hiphughes

Lately I have been having some awesome interactions with Keith Hughes on Twitter. He creates amazing Social Studies videos on YouTube. I thought I would share his short video on why he does not call himself a teacher anymore.

My Two Cents

If your job is to disseminate information, you’ve been replaced by Google and YouTube.

Technology has changed what the role of the teacher looks like. In 1800 the way to get information was someone telling you, that is no longer true. So what ways do you redesign your lessons so you are a facilitator of learning rather than a lecturer?
