I bought the iPad when it was first announced and immediately started integrating it into the classroom. Undoubtedly it is a tool that with the right teacher can inspire students and increase student learning.
I was honored to work for 13 years at Clovis High School with Diana Herrington who is an amazing math teacher. Diana has inspired and mentored me in so many ways, I would not be who I am without her. She has shaped much of my educational philosophies with her innovations and true passion for student learning. She gives of her time and money sacrificially to put the student first.
I am happy to see her featured in a video by the Fresno County Office of Education. In the video she demonstrates how the iPad has transformed how she approaches instruction and student learning.
