CUE Selects Alice Keeler as Professional Development Assistant
Walnut Creek, Calif., October 26, 2012 — Computer-Using Educators (CUE) Inc. announced Friday at its Annual Fall CUE Conference that Alice Keeler will join CUE as part of its professional development team in November.
Alice Keeler will be in charge of specific programs within the professional development arm of CUE, called CUEtoYOU, which has been growing rapidly over the past few years. “I am really excited to have Alice on board,” said Danny Silva, CUE’s professional development coordinator. “She has been instrumental in heading up our new Advanced Studies Certificate program, and now several key projects will be under her direct supervision, which will make things easier for those members looking to increase their knowledge in all areas of technology and professional growth.”
In addition to overseeing the Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate program, Alice will be working on the YouTube curation project, amassing and organizing hundreds of videos into useable resources for members, as well as maintaining her role as a Lead Learner at CUEtoYOU events. She will also help develop and produce new workshops and programs.
“I am excited to be a part of the CUE team who are doing wonderful things that help educators impact student learning,” added Mrs. Keeler, who will begin her work on Nov. 14. For more on Alice Keeler, please visit her website at www.alicekeeler.com.
