OneNote in the Cloud

If you are using Office 365 the OneNote application is possibly the best part of the suite. It creates a virtual notebook to organize student work. You can create a OneNote notebook from the cloud in Office 365 by clicking on “new” and choosing “OneNote notebook.”

The cloud version is very basic. It is best used for viewing your OneNote notebooks or for adding a quick text box. The real magic of OneNote is the full desktop version.

OneNote on the Mac

The Mac version does not have all of the features of the PC version, but still has some great functionality. Use the desktop version and your notebook is automatically saved to OneDrive. You can access your notes on your computer, the cloud, or use the mobile OneNote apps.
