Highlight the Lost Character

Use Shift Arrow to Capture Characters

How many times have you highlighted text only to miss one character?

Shift Key and Right Arrow

Hold down the Shift key and press the right or left arrows to increase (or decrease) your highlighting by one character. Sometimes I’m having such a challenge to highlight what I want I just use Shift arrow to highlight the whole thing and skip the mouse entirely!

Shift and the down arrow will help you highlight multiple rows without your mouse.
