Press M to Mute an Email Conversation

Whoever invented Reply All without a warning before sending is on my poo list.

“I notice you are replying to more than 3 people with a message of ‘thanks’ or ‘congratulations’ would you like to reply to just the sender?”

Mute an Email Conversation

When an email conversation gets out of control with “thanks” and you no longer want your phone blowing up with reply all notifications you can MUTE the conversation. It does not delete it, but the replies will skip the inbox.

Click M

Open the email in Gmail. Press M. Done. Conversation muted.
