While some teachers are still teaching their hearts out, others have been on week one or three for Summer Break! So much is going on and here are some things that caught my eye! One of things I love about being on social media is coming across cool educators that I didn’t know! Here are three things I really enjoyed and want to share with you!
Hairy Ball Theorem? Say WHAT?!
I’m not even going to explain this one. Just check out this Tweet/TikTok by Howie Hua!
Why Reuse Google Classroom? AHA! Moment
I had the best time listening in to Alice Keeler’s #InnEdCO2021 Schoolytic Session on Missing Assignments and Progress Reports in Google Classroom. Things started clicking for me that I’ve heard many times, but they finally made sense!! Like, if you go to alicekeeler.com/reusegc you can easily start a fresh Google Classroom for every new unit or grading period. Why do that? So you don’t have an entire year’s worth of files to go through when you are working with with your students. BRILLIANT! Listen to her LIVE Session from Friday:
Pride Month + Pear Deck + Victoria Thompson
Loved this article by our community member and regular Microsoft EDU Blogger, Victoria Thompson! Read and let her know what you’ve learned! Edtech has come such a long way in being more inclusive these last few years, and this is worth of celebration! Check out her article by clicking on the graphic below!
What’s up in your world?
Take time to relax and celebrate what is happening all around you! You may not go viral, but the things filling you up and helping you recover from this past school year is noteworthy and we’d love to hear about it, too!
