Slides to Spanish+ is a quick and dirty way for teachers to make a copy of their Google Slides™ to be in another language. A new Google Slides™ is created, the original slides are copied over with the text boxes converted to the language of choice. Slides to Spanish+ only works with English language Google Slides™ to convert to a selected language. The conversion is with Google Translate™ and it is highly recommended to verify the translation. Edit the formatting of the resulting translated slides as the text box widths or font sizes may need adjusting. If a text box contains multiple formatting elements, only the formatting of the first character will be displayed.
To use Slides to Spanish+ use the Extensions menu to “Show Sidebar.” Select from a drop down list the desired language. Check your Google Drive™ for the translated slides.
