Using Revision History when you Accidentally Change your Original

Ooops, I Messed Up My Original

This is something I frequently do. I have templates and then accidentally edit the template. Here are a few easy steps.

1) Don’t Panic

This is an easy fix. Have a little chuckle.

2) Make a Copy

You don’t want to lose your edits! Use the File menu to make a copy. This is now your actual document.

3) Revision History

Use the File menu to “See revision history.” In the side panel on the right, click on the revisions to see when the document looked like the template.
