Group Work

Posted on May 19, 2012May 19, 2012 by Alice Keeler

At a training I was participating in a scenario was proposed to the group at whole. The group was broken up into small groups with their own focus and to contribute a portion of the solution that our focus could address.

As I am watching the group recorder write on a small poster our ideas I was thinking how much more efficient it would be to have a collaborative Google Presentation where each team could develop a single slide.

This would allow for the content to be legible, addition of images and gives all participants instant access to the cumulative contributions of the group both at the time and later.

Amen! It is frustrating when leadership (including coaches, those leading trainings) doesn’t see the promise of a tool like this to be more efficient, effective, and engaging. All they see is the hassle of getting it set up.
